FanZappy, a data-driven and content-focused marketing company, is seeking experienced content & SEO specialist with proven track record to join our team. Summary

You join our client service team and are responsible for all content & SEO aspects for assigned client accounts. You apply all proven practices you have picked up from your career experience to create/curate relevant and engaging content and optimize your content for search engines (SEO).  As the sole owner in the content & SEO area for your accounts, you are a “jack-of-all-trades” type of professional who can cover all in content and SEO, whatever are needed to ensure client success and total satisfaction.

Content regions/languages: US, Canada/English.

Responsibilities

Content

• DISCOVERY: conduct business & competitive analysis to identify keywords and/or topics that are missing content or need content improvement
• COPYWRITING:  Write high-quality, engaging and professional content for specified regions/languages. Based on your research from the discovery process, you will do one of the following: (1) write up and produce needed content by yourself, (2) clearly document the copy writing job and manage another copywriter to write for you, (3) curate needed content from a 3rd party.
• MULTIFORM: You understand the objectives and requirements for all prevalent online marketing content formats and types, including web pages, blogs, news & PR, email/newsletters, online brochures/eBooks, social media. Work with multiple forms for the same content topic and interlink these forms for the same topic.
• CREATIVE: You choose relevant and engaging images or videos from client or stock sources and incorporate them into your content.
• QUALITY CONTROL: Review produced content and perform quality control based on language/readability, relevancy to client business, engagement to content consumers, readiness for search engines
• PRODUCTION: Create and update a content production plan from the discovery process and execute the content production schedules, either recurring or on demand.

SEO

• ANALYTICS: Use prevalent SEO tracking and analytics tools to collect intelligence. Applied what is learned in content production.
• ON-PAGE SEO:  As part content production and quality control, optimize web content for search engines and language readability. Have working knowledge in choosing focus and related keywords for the content topic, and creating optimized title, description, headings, body.
• LINKING: Purposely embed 1st-party and 3rd-party links in produced content for better value to readers, content credibility, and search ranking

Required Experience

• You have built a career as a successful copywriter for the specified regions and languages
• You have produced high-quality content at least as web pages, blogs, email/newsletters, ebooks. What else?
• You can show how your content was producing results.
• You are an experienced user of some prevalent SEO tracking and analytics tool s such as Semrush.
• You fully understand all key elements in writing search engine optimized copies and apply them in your content writing.
• You are an expert in using Yoast plugin for on-page search and readability content optimization on WordPress websites
• You have demonstrated client and project commitment as well as time management and on-time content delivery.
• You are a team player and work effectively in a project team serving clients
• You are an effective communicator and are fluent in English
